Green Plus in trucks / transporters / delivery vehicles, etc.gv strasse gpValero (the world's largest independent refinery operator) treats 30% of the diesel required in Texas (approximately 26 million inhabitants) with Green Plus, to be able uphold the specifications and quality standards of Texas Low Emission Diesel (TxLED) more easily.

Transportation is responsible for half of global oil consumption and 20% of world energy consumption (Source: IEA). Again, 40% of this is used in urban transport alone. Should no further consumption improvements be targeted, the IEA expects a doubling of consumption in urban transportation by 2050.

3 Mercedes Benz Actros (Paul Nutzfahrzeuge)

Fuel consumption test:

Paul Nutzfahrzeuge is a multi-brand service centre in Passau, Germany, which goes back 200 years, and is one of the European brand leaders in special vehicle construction.

Paul Nutzfahrzeuge tested three Mercedes Benz Actros Euro 5/Euro 6 made in 2005, 2011 and 2012 using Green Plus. Under upholding of the standards of the modified SAE J1321-test procedure, the result was fuel economy of 8%-15%.

IVECO 460 Truck - (G. Transporte)

Fuel consumption test:

In September 2012, a truck from the IVECO brand, type 460, was tested using Green Plus.

The average fuel consumption of the vehicle without Green Plus was 28.6 litres per 100 km. In the subsequent test runs on the first section of the route (2,700 km), Green Plus achieved a reduction of 9.50% to 25.9 litres per 100 km, and on the second section of the route (2,681 km) a further reduction of 3.40% to 24.9 litres per 100 km.

Using Green Plus, fuel consumption was thereby reduced from 28.6 litres to 24.9 litres per 100 km, which represents a total saving of 12.90%.

Furthermore, the drivers noticed the trucks ran more smoothly, plus a clear increase in performance, which was particularly noticeable on inclines (fewer gearshifts).

Volvo Truck - (Valley Detroit Diesel Allison)

Performance Test on a Detroit diesel series 60 engine:

Valley Detroit Diesel Allison holds the exclusive sales rights for Detroit diesel engines and Allison gearboxes in Southern California.

Valley DDA tested Green Plus with regard to its performance-increasing effect. This test was carried out on a Volvo truck with a Detroit diesel series 60 engine. The results showed an average performance improvement of 32 kW/44 hp and a torque improvement of 11.60% lb ft. (pounds/ feet).

Detroit Diesel - CEE (California Environmental Engineering)

Emissions test on a high-performance diesel engine:

CEE (California Environmental Engineering), a laboratory recognised by CARB (California Air Resources Board) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), which carried out the emissions tests on gasoline engines, also tested a high-performance engine using a Green Plus / diesel blend.

A CARB-certificated Detroit diesel series 60 engine was tested, in which the emissions values were considerably below the provisions of EPA and CARB. Green Plus produced an improvement of 10.64% in hydrocarbon emissions, a reduction of 5.09% in NOx values and a decrease in particles of 8.35%.
