Road Passenger Traffic


Green Plus in coaches / city buses / cars, etc.pv strasse gpGreen Plus liquid catalyst can be added to all fuels available on the European market, such as Super, Super Plus, Super E10, biodiesel or diesel, to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

Private traffic represents the largest proportion of passenger traffic, at approximately 80%. In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 443/2009 of the European Parliament and Council of 23 April 2009, CO2 emissions from new vehicles in the EU are to be reduced to an average of 95 g/km by 2020. However, the result was only 146.1 g/km in 2011.

As CO2 emissions register a direct connection with fuel consumption in cars (1 l diesel produces approximately 2.62 kg CO2, 1 l gasoline generates approximately 2.32 kg CO2), any vehicle owner can immediately count on a 10% saving in diesel or gasoline when using Green Plus; their personal contribution to the immediate improvement of environmental quality.

Arriva - Bus Fleet

Fuel consumption test:

The DB subsidiary, Arriva Bus, tested Green Plus in everyday operations from November 2013 to December 2013 in around 200 city buses in London. When analysing the fuel consumption data after 4 weeks, a fuel saving of 15.01% was identified, and after the second analysis a saving of 16.04% after a total of 6 weeks.

While the buses treated with Green Plus reduced their fuel consumption, a clear increase in fuel consumption was noted for buses without Green Plus, which could be attributed to the changing weather conditions. The buses running with Green Plus used 16.04% less fuel. The concurrent percentage increase of the consumption by buses without Green Plus has to be added to this value – a result of more than 20%.

Mercedes Benz Travego Bus

Fuel consumption test:

In fall 2013, a fuel consumption test was carried out on a Mercedes Benz Travego Bus / Euro 6 from 2012 in daily service on short and long routes as well as on country roads and motorways. A fuel saving of 9% was achieved over a test period of 14 days.

Isuzu Bus Test, Arad

Opacity test / Engine noise test:

In November 2012, SC CTP SA I.T.P. (Inspectia tehnica periodica) in the municipality of Arad in Romania tested a diesel-driven ISUZU Bus from 1999, with regard to changes in the opacity value and engine noise, when using Green Plus.

The test showed a reduction in the opacity value from K 4.21 to K 0.96, as well as a reduction in engine noise from 84-88db to 82-84db. Furthermore, engine vibration decreased from 2.1 to 1.6-1.7.

Hebebühnen Vermietung GmbH Ziegler

Fuel consumption test / Emissions test:

In June 2014, the Swiss company, Hebebühnen Vermietung GmbH Ziegler, conducted a fuel and emissions test on their company's own vehicles.

The test runs demonstrated a fuel saving of between 9.37% and 11.56%, as well as soot particle reduction of between 16.43% and 53.06%.

Chevrolet (Botar) Buses - Petroecuador

Emissions test:

The state-owned oil group in Ecuador is the second-largest South American exporter of oil in the USA. Petroecuador tested Green Plus over a period of 30 days. The objective was to verify the efficiency of Green Plus in diesel buses during their journeys. The engine tests were carried out on Chevrolet (Botar) buses.

The analysis of the data proves a reduction of NOx values by 53.30%, carbon monoxide by 51.20%, and sulfur dioxide by 21.30%.

BARI (Beijing Automobile Research Institute)

Emissions test:

The Beijing Automobile Research Institute or BARI, is one of the leading institutions for emissions tests in China.

Green Plus was tested over a period of 3 months by BARI. The test was carried out with a gasoline-driven FAW car (the largest Chinese automotive manufacturer). The results of the tests proved a reduction in the proportion of carbon monoxide in the exhaust by 29.70%, hydrocarbons by 27.90%, nitrogen dioxide by 28.20%, and carbon dioxide by 10%.

Ford Motor Company

Fuel consumption test:

Green Plus was tested in the Ford Motor Company's emissions laboratory in Aveley, UK. This test was conducted on a 12 year-old gasoline-driven 1.6 l Ford Escort.

The analysis of the data showed a fuel saving of 9%.

CEE (California Environmental Engineering)

Emissions test:

Green Plus was tested by CEE on a 4.9 litre Cadillac Sedan from 1991. The results of the tests proved a hydrocarbon reduction of 39.90%, a carbon monoxide decrease of 45.20% and a nitrogen dioxide reduction of 9.40%.

California Environmental Engineering, or CEE, is a laboratory recognised by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the EPA.
